My mother is a missionary in Haiti. I thought my mom was trying to buy her salvation by going to a place like that. When I asked what a calling means and how do you know that God is calling you to that position.

She replied, “Woe is me if I don’t preach the gospel.” Now I thought that mom was just an emotional bomb ready to explode at any moment, but she was so sincere in her conviction that I thought “Wow!” she really means it. So I started thinking about my internet business. If I could really convey the thoughts and feelings like that lady who gave her life, to a cause much bigger than her, I would feel good earning money online and if I earned enough, maybe I could give her something for the magnificent obsession of her. Behold, I myself have reached a magnificent obsession. I thought that if I could earn money online with the sincerity of helping others get ahead, even if it meant waiting my turn, well, I might fall in love with that idea. That made me think about my life and every part of it. I thought I had to do this. No choice!

Magnificent means 1.) Characterized by splendor or greatness

2.) Shockingly beautiful or impressive

Obsession 1.) A persistent disturbing preoccupation with an often unreasonable idea or feeling

Consider how spectacular your life would be and how effective you will be in sales when you have in your mind: “A persistent and disturbing preoccupation with an often unreasonable idea or feeling, characterized by splendor or grandeur. An idea that is startlingly beautiful or impressive.” .”

I think how some of the marketing people like the rich idiot or Holly Mann kept up with book sales that skyrocketed their profits because of their belief in themselves and their ideas. Thanks guys, you helped me be who I am today.
