Lifestyle Vacation Club, pros and cons of a Lifestyle Vacation Club

We all want to travel, some of us may not admit it to others, but I think it’s more because they don’t want to admit it to themselves. They feel like they can’t travel for whatever reason, so they tell themselves they don’t want to so they don’t feel like they’re missing out. I’m letting everyone know that they can. Whether it’s finances holding you back, or not knowing how to organize a great vacation, or just the fear of taking your first trip outside of your comfort zone. And I’m going to explain it by talking about lifestyle vacation clubs. I will talk about this from the experience I have in the trips I have done and the lifestyle vacation club that I am aware of.

First professional of a lifestyle vacation club.

The first advantage, and probably the biggest one, for many people is value. Many people want to get the most value for the money they spend. It makes sense, we work hard for our money so we want to get the most out of it. The lifestyle vacation club I’m aware of does just that. They give a lot of value for your money. All available vacation packages are located in 4 and 5 star resorts or hotels at 2 and 3 star prices. They guarantee you the lowest price or they will reimburse you for the cost of the trip and send you on vacation anyway. Pretty powerful statement. There are always trip inclusions that also add a lot of value to the money you are spending. If your trip is to Disneyland, include tickets to the park. A ski trip, include the ski pass during your stay. A day at a car race, great seats including pit lane passes. A lifestyle vacation club has value.

Pro #2 of a lifestyle vacation club.

Free from worry. Let’s face it, our lives are busy. Organizing a great vacation takes a lot of time. You have to find a resort in the area you want to go to. It is necessary to confirm the vacancy during the time you want to go. Then you need to set up things to do in the area you want to go to. You can avoid this purchase by doing it while on vacation, but who wants to do that? I have done it and it was added stress… while on vacation trying to get away from stress!! Then you have to pay it, in advance or during the holidays as I did on one of my trips. Either method is a hassle and time consuming. With a lifestyle vacation club, the hassle is eliminated. You can set filters for the type of trip you’re looking for, making it extremely easy to find the trip you want with the inclusions you want to experience, book the trip and you’re done.

The third pro of a lifestyle vacation club.

By being part of a membership, the same trip will be available to other people. This allows you to have common ground with the people at the outings with you, the membership. Whether it’s whale watching off the coast of Mexico or a wine tasting tour in France, some or many of the people on those excursions with you have common ground with you to break the ice and make the initial interaction less awkward. , you are all members of the same lifestyle vacation club. Knowing that there will be other people on the trip with whom you share a membership can make it easier to take that first trip to get over your fear of traveling.

Pro four of a lifestyle vacation club

As I said, there is a certain lifestyle vacation club that I am aware of. There are certain advantages that this lifestyle vacation club has that make it truly amazing. One of these advantages is an online shopping mall. There are over a thousand stores in this online mall to choose from. When you shop online for things you’re going to buy anyway, you get a percentage in the form of “travel dollars.” These can be applied to the trip you choose, the flights for the trip, or just your own personal hotels, etc. Essentially, if you buy enough online and accumulate enough “ride dollars,” you could ride for free. Absolutely incredible.

Below are some supposed cons. However, many things are from points of view, and I am going to offer different points of view to see these cons in a positive light.

With #1 of a lifestyle vacation club

I hear it all the time, “but I don’t like groups of people, so I wouldn’t want to go on a trip where there are a bunch of people doing the same thing.” First, you don’t have to participate in the group activities, but it could end up being a pretty boring trip. So look at it in a different light. Trust me, whether you’re on a solo trip or part of a lifestyle vacation club, there will be other people around. You will have to pay quite a high fee for the diving instructor to take only you and your companion to dive, quite expensive to book the whale watching boat only for your family exclusively. Unless you pay a lot of money, there will be other people doing the same things as you. So why not change your point of view and look at it like a pro as stated in pro #3? You have something in common with the people who date you.

Second lifestyle vacation club scam.

They do not include flights in the cost of the trip. Good, then you have me there. It would be impossible for them to do this. There would be people flying in from a few hours away and people flying in from across the ocean. There would be no way to price these when people come from everywhere. But let me ask you this. A family in British Columbia Canada is booking a vacation to Cancun Mexico through a booking agent that “includes” the flight. Now the same size family is booking the exact same trip, at the exact same time, through the same booking agent, but this family is in the US state of Texas. Do you think that the price of vacations will be the same for each family? The answer is no. The family from Texas is much closer to Cancun than the family from Canada. Although they say the flight is included, it is actually included in the cost of the stay. As for the scam… I looked up the cost of flights to a trip at the lifestyle vacation club and added it up. Then I searched for vacations in the same place at the same time that included flights. I then had to figure out what it would cost to get the same things that the lifestyle vacation club includes in the cost, and add that to the cost of the “flight included” vacation package. Guess what, the final price of the lifestyle vacation club was hundreds of dollars cheaper each time. That brings us back to pro 1, get our money’s worth. I’d rather book a separate flight and save hundreds of dollars than book a vacation that includes a flight. Additionally, many of us have methods of accumulating points to apply toward flights when we choose to travel. When booking a vacation where the flight is included in the vacation package, you cannot use your points to lower the price of the flight portion. When the flight is separated from the vacation package, you are free to pay for the flight however you want, so you can do it using your points, seat sales, etc. In my opinion, this makes “included” travel a scam. And the fact that the flight is not “included” in the vacation club lifestyle, makes it a pro.

With 3 of a lifestyle vacation club.

Lifestyle Vacation Club vacations are preset with dates. Another thing I hear all the time. “It’s my vacation and I want to go on my time, not a time chosen for me by the lifestyle vacation club.” OK, yes, lifestyle vacation club vacations have set dates. They can offer great prices because they buy vacations like Costco buys groceries. They book a large number of rooms at a resort at a specific time, get deep discounts on the cost, and pass those savings on to the club member. I’ve seen ski trips, for example, only a couple of months apart, to the same place. Trips to Universal Studios in Florida at various times of the year. They offer as many options as they can for flexibility. So I offer a different way of looking at it to lessen the negativity of it. Wouldn’t you be open to the idea of adjusting your vacation date a bit, if it means saving hundreds of dollars on your trip? I know I would.

Fourth lifestyle vacation club scam.

The lifestyle vacation club that I am aware of has a membership fee. There is an initial setup fee and a monthly fee after that. I guess it’s a scam, but this company does something to make it a professional. Costco has an annual fee. You pay that fee to get access to the great deals inside their store. The deals are worth it, so you pay the fee. Same idea with a lifestyle vacation club membership fee. You pay a fee to get access to the best vacation deals. But what this company does to make it professional is quite unique. Every dollar you spend, which includes the initial setup fee and monthly fees, is converted into “DreamTrip” points, dollar for dollar, one dollar equals one point. Vacations have a point value that can be subtracted from the dollar value you must pay to book the already heavily discounted trip. So really the membership fee acts like a vacation savings account. So again, looking at it in a different way turns the negative into a positive as well.
