Fiberglass pools offer pool structures of the highest quality. You can fit a fiberglass pool in almost any size yard, and you can shape it to fit almost any shape. Variety and flexibility may seem like benefits, but they can be a real problem when you’re trying to figure out how much a fiberglass pool will cost you.

Obviously, you don’t want to go into a pool contractor’s office and ask how much it will cost without having a rough idea. High pressure sales pitches are never fun and you are likely to get ripped off if you are not educated. The problem is that you won’t be able to determine the exact cost of your fiberglass pool without asking the builder, but I can at least give you some rough estimates. Fiberglass pool prices vary widely.

The fiberglass pool shell itself will be the most expensive part of the pool. Small fiberglass pool shells that are about 26 feet or less in length will cost ten to twelve thousand dollars. Medium fiberglass shells for pools (27′ – 34′ long) will cost you between thirteen and fourteen thousand dollars and any larger pool could cost between fifteen and twenty thousand dollars.

Those estimates are based on the average price of fiberglass shells. They do not take into account installation fees or additional features you add to your pool.
