Is Colleen Slater’s Inferno blog worth the money?

Colleen Slater, the self-proclaimed affiliate of 60 Minutes, is about to launch her Blog Inferno system, which claims to be the best niche marketing guide on the internet.

Ms. Slater has put together a collection of articles, mind maps, templates, and videos that she says will help the average affiliate marketer increase their income online.

I was lucky enough to get a preview of the Blog Inferno system to review exactly what has been put together and get a chance to see if it’s worth it or just another scam.

First, I want to say that I like Colleen’s work as a 60 Minute Affiliate. She offers a wide variety of guidance and tips that will help niche marketers stay ahead of the competition. She even offers free one-on-one counseling to those who are struggling to make the sales they initially hoped for.

Blog Inferno is a collection of these guides turned into an ebook, with some of the ideas slightly expanded. As with many affiliate marketing guides, much of the information in the book is already available at no cost elsewhere.

What Ms. Slater does is provide video tutorials for the struggling masses. If she has the time and patience to go through the step-by-step guide, and she’s a visually oriented person, this may be a great thing for you.

Blog Inferno won’t get your website ranking in minutes, and it won’t generate sales in days. But it does offer some ideas for those just starting out in the world of affiliate marketing.

If you really want to make an impact in the world of the Internet, you’re better off spending your money on Andrew Hansen’s Firepow. Firepow is a tool that will get your website top rankings on Google in a matter of hours, as well as some nifty tricks that aren’t available anywhere else, not to mention the support of a community of successful online money makers, including Hansen himself, who is quick to respond and a joy to deal with.
