Rogue Leveling Guide: Leveling a Rogue in WotLK

Rogue Leveling Guide

Rogues, like Hunters, are really easy to level up due to their high damage level. With a well-equipped rogue, you can get through all 80 levels. However, it is essential to use the best talent formation and the most suitable elements to level up. Without these things, you will face constant irritation because your rogue will gain experience very slowly. Read my short rogue leveling guide and find out the best talent build to level up and the most important stats for your rogue.

Talents

Finding the perfect talent pool for rogue leveling is one of the biggest challenges in World of Warcraft, which is why this rogue leveling guide is primarily about choosing the best talents. All three talent trees were designed to increase overall damage, so it’s difficult to determine which one is the best for leveling up. Today, the Combat talent tree is the best for leveling up because the Combat tree provides the highest consistent DPS. Even though we chose the Combat tree, your first talent should be Malice, which increases your critical strike chance. You can now begin selecting talents from the combat tree, such as Dual Wield Specialization, Accuracy, Deflection, and Close Combat. Your next talent will be the Blade Furry, which will allow you to kill multiple opponents at the same time, thus speeding up your XP gain. Vitality and Adrenaline Rush will slightly increase your energy regeneration. Surprise Attacks are a real gem in the combat tree, allowing you to never miss a finishing move and providing a flat increase to your overall damage. The last talent in the Combat tree, Murder Spree, is another great talent, because with its help you can easily kill multiple opponents.

Gear

When choosing items for your rogue, your first priority should be to maximize damage. So the most important stat for your rogue is agility, as it will increase your attack power, critical hit rating, and dodge rating. Also, agility can be found in almost all leather goods. Critical Hit Rating and Attack Power are also important. About choosing the right weapon: Due to the dual-wield specialization, I recommend that you get a really slow weapon for the main hand (a slower weapon means more special attack damage) and a really fast one for the left hand.

The next step is to get an automated rogue leveling guide, which will give you precise instructions on what to do, thereby increasing your leveling speed.
