Photo Booth Rental: Guidelines to Perfect Your Experience

So, are you already determined to liven up your wedding reception or corporate party with a photo booth and want to make sure your guests get the most out of it? Here are some tips on how to make your photo booth experience a complete success.

1. Placement. The location of your photo booth is extremely important. Try to install it in a highly visible area close to the action. The perfect place is next to the bar and/or dance floor. Also, make sure that your photo booth location is lit in some way so that it is not placed in the dark corner of the room. People leaving the photo booth should enjoy your impressions and be able to see and sign your guestbook/scrapbook. Being in the photo booth rental business for years, we got to see the raw emotions of happy people laughing out loud, anxiously waiting at the print/scrapbook station, gathering in groups to judge their latest booth adventure. of photos and then having fun decorating a scrapbook.

2. Size really does matter. Instead of a small old-fashioned photo “box” that only fits 2 or 3 people, rent a professional photo booth designed for large groups. It really makes a difference. It’s so much fun to watch 20 of your guests scream with excitement as they cram into a booth. The more the better!

3. Announcements/reminders. Be sure to let your guests know about a photo booth, its location, and that it’s available to them at no cost. Ask your DJ or MC to make announcements on your photo booth throughout the night. Lay out the table with information cards about it; provide a note on the place setting.

4. Use of props. Want to really spice up your photo booth rental? Accessories are must-haves for weddings, corporate parties, bar/bat mitzvahs, dances, quinceaƱeras, parties, proms, graduations, family reunions, fundraisers, and other events because of the fun they encourage. Many photo booth rental companies offer props for an additional cost or include them in their packages. You can also bring your own accessories. Here are some ideas: fun glasses, pirate accessories, including a parrot, a spyglass, eye patches, gold pieces, an earring, knight accessories, a sword, a shield, a helmet, king and queen crowns, smiles on a stick, mustaches on a stick, glasses with mustaches, noses and eyebrows, an explorer hat, a business hat, a construction worker hat, clown noses, many different wigs, boas, toys and musical instruments that air blowers, frames, signs, chalkboard speech bubbles, feather fans, fancy hats, angel wings, devil pitchforks, animal ears, noses, tails and much more.
